What is Backyard Church?

Backyard church is the answer to a long season of prayer and conversation. A group of couples gathered together to worship in the Backyard when COVID struck. As we met and the group grew we began to feel more and more of a stirring and a longing to create a community of people who were actively: using their gifts for serving, training Christians for ministry, equipping people to make disciples who make disciples, and having worship that is inspiring week to week.

If you come and join us, don't dress up. Feel free to be relaxed and be ready to hear a lesson from the Bible, God's Word. Come ready to participate on whatever level you are comfortable with. And feel free to bring a friend!

Our hope is that God uses this effort of encouraging and equipping people to multiply Backyard churches across Auburn and beyond. In doing so we pray to see lives changed by the good news about Jesus as "everyday disciples" go about showing the world the love of Jesus!
