Describing Our Sunday Gathering...What to Expect
Each week we gather in Jesus' name to praise God and encourage each other. Here is what you can expect if you attend:
You will be greeted with a warm welcome. All are welcome to attend and we want you to know that you are loved.
Each family sits together on camp chair (or whatever chair you choose to bring...we have extra seating in case you forget) distanced appropriately from other families.
We mask up before and after worship so we can gather and talk.
Worship will begin with some encouragement and any announcements about what is coming up, ways to serve, etc.
After the announcements we will have time for God-stories - stories from our week where God has answered prayers or done things that got our attention ( anyone can share).
Communion is usually next - where we take the bread and the juice together to remember Jesus. A thought and prayers will be shared to focus our thoughts.
We enter into a time of singing, which is instrumental and themed to the lesson.
Following a few songs we have a message from the Bible. This lesson is taught by men, women, children...whoever is called to share and teach that week.
Last, we have a final song or two and end in prayer.
Once our service is over we have a time to catch up and connect. You will probably find out about a way to serve or connect while you are with us. A prayer basket is out each week in case you have any prayer needs. Those are given to our prayer team to pray over each week.
We hope you will come and join us, make yourself at home...and worship God in a way that is both uplifting and casual.
